Procurement and Logistic Executive
Reports directly to General Manager and work alongside with operation department to ensure all job completed
1. Learn about our product and services in relation to International Maritime Organization and Safety Equipment Regulations
2. Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase from both local and oversea vendors
3. Evaluate vendorí»s quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project or job
4. Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing or terms & conditions
5. In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
6. Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors and clients
7. Assist in ISO Annual Performance Review for vendors and clients
8. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation
9. Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements
10. Learn to build rapport and establish long term relationships with suppliers
11. Maintain excellent product knowledge at all times
12. Record accurately all vendor and customer profile and booking information making full use of the appropriate systems
13. Inventory and Logistics related arrangements
